The term, “End of Life” when it applies to application software or website sofware, means the point of time where a certain version of that software is no longer supported, and no more upgrades, security or performance patches will be produced.
While you may continue to use the software or website, you will not be able to take advantage of any new technological enhancements and methodologies (e.g. advanced programming interface changes), the most important of which will be new security features, responsiveness for mobile devices and visual enhancements.
